When you are looking at forum rules, they mention flaming. What exactly do they mean by that? Thanks.

This is flaming. You really are dumb as a rock for asking a stupid question like this. You are just lucky I answered you.
It could also contain profane remarks.

Flaming is the personal picking on any one person in the said forum .

It means deliberately ridiculing a poster or being hurtful.

Well I think it means starting fights or making them worse such as adding fuel to a fire. I could be wrong.

It is not a stupid question. They just don't want you to offend anyone when you give them an answer, or when you ask a question!!!
