Are most people on here answering questions drunk or stupid, because half of the answers don't make sense!

You know, it's funny, this question seems to be generating some of the best answers. :-)

I agree that it is often just people hustling for points and I think the way the system is set up really leads to point jockeying rather than real illumination of any real facts or truth.

Also as has been said, the questions are often idiotic or poorly explained too.

Also far too common are the best answers chosen for the wrong reasons that are not even correct and in the case of medical questions may be quite dangerous.

Then there are the relationship questions, most of which make you wonder if any of these kids even have parents and why they are asking total strangers with no valid credentials about some of the most important decisions of their life.

Spending a few hours on here reading the questions and answers can be quite depressing when you think that it reflects the level of education and knowledge amongst the supposedly above average people who make up the computer owning and usage percentage of the population.

So I am with you, it is pitiful how idiotic many of the questions and answers are.

TO the HON I think your question is a stupid one , The reason i say this is because the people that are trying to answer the questions most of them do know what the question is about. Then someone like you comes along and i have to say you are surmizeing , YOU mention in your Question. THAT most of the people on this "answers" programn. Most people who answer the questions , are drunk or stupid ,Maybe it could well be the way the question is being asked. ever thought of that? SO i ask you when you say most people , what would your percentage be that mos are drunk,or stupid , IF you look in the Oxford English Dictionary . Their are alot of definionts for the word most , and in in the way i think you are decribing this word Most i think you are looking at a percentage ,. But this was your opiono . , and so i thought i would give you my opinon , keep smileing

There are probably some drunk or stupid answerers, but there are also people from quite a few different countries answering as well. This may account for some of the confusion. It's also easy to misinterpret things written, rather than spoken, as you don't get the body language and intonation of voice to go along with it.

I'm neither drunk nor stupid so, if the answer makes sense to the one asking the question, then that's all that matters.

Although, some people do give answers just for the sake of answering... and ask questions just for the sake of asking.

Well i dont know, i am a little drunk but not that much lol.
Sometimes people answer questions because they just want their rating to go higher even if they dont know what they are talking about or they just answer with one word just so they get their 2 points.

They just want the points. And, I've noticed some strange questions, also. But all in all, I think the good questions get some intelligent answers.

Some folks typing skills may not be up to par.
I think it's fun to read what interests other people, even if my answer make me seem "drunk".
