I believe so yes! Especially when your answer has been picked as the best - and you weren't expecting it.
And yes some questions I DO answer - because I KNOW I have a sure chance of winning. (Selfish I know!)

If it goes into voting I have noticed that the first answer is often chosen as the 'Best Answer'. I have no chance with this one, I'm at the bottom. LOL.x

You dont get any points for it but at least it gets read & quite alot of "best answers" are usually on the first page!

I think so,the other answers tend to get overlooked,and the answers that go onto the next page have no chance.

i really think you have to get your answer in at least the first 5 answers , after that no body really has the patience to read on. - like no one is gonna be reading this anyways

I dunno, i never get my answer in quickly enough!! Maybe the fact that I only have one finger and typing is quite slow.... JOKE! I've got all 12 fingers, just like a normal person!!
