That sucks! Crap I had typed you a big answer & it frickin lost it! Any way they haven't tried to change your prescription for your glasses or sent you to a Neurologist? Ibuprofen does suck, usually doesn't help me. Excedrin works better, caffeine constricts the blood vessels & helps the tylenol & asprin in it work. I know how they are though & I would end up laying in a dark bathroom w/ a pillow vomiting & crying. It hurts!!! What really sucks is a lot of the time you go to the Dr. & tell them they think you're just trying to score drugs. In a way I was but because I had a migraine not an addiction. You're also 13. I hated life @ that age for a while. I was popular & had fun but a lot of family problems & my parents didn't buy me nice clothes & make up n crap. I felt like I didn't fit in and crap like that. I am a pretty girl but I never had many boyfriends then either; my other best friends ALWAYS got the super popular hot guys. Ya know, that kinda crap. My mom was on drugs @ the time & I had a lot of shame. (Remeber that key word) So when you make your mom drop you off down the street from the school or have friends stay the night & well that's another chapter. When you feel shamed, bad, not good enough that feeling starts making decisions for you, like not even putting your make up on (been there) because you feel lke why bother & that maybe you're not pretty enough of feeling well anyway. For a while I was having the same thing going on. Really I am pretty cute but you wouldn't have known then cuz I was either nauciouse, had a headache, was fatigued SOMETHING! Then you start to feel like a Eeyore & ppl are tired of hearing you complain. You are depressed right now I think, in fact I'll bet anything. There is a mind & body connection. Seen that Cymbalta commercial? It's an anti-depressant & they say, "Where does depression hurt?" & the dog has his leash in his mouth while the owner is too sore & crappy feeling to walk him. haha anyway that &/or neurological. I am on Depakote now, it is a ceasure medication that is also used to treat depression & headaches. Reglan is also a wonderful med. it's for nausea but a Dr. in the E.R. once told me he gives it for migraines some study showed it helped & it did. I would just take it 4 times a day, no side effects or anything. I've been where you are though; believe me & then some! You can im or email me ohmysweet_carolina@yahoo.com & I can give you more personal information if you want. Angela

Wow. You must be having a really lousy day!
I have migraines too, and I know how bad they are. Sometimes you almost want to pound your head against the wall just to move the pain a little. Have you talked to a doctor about them? There are some new medications on the market that are really helping people. And I know of people who have outgrown them. Let's hope you're one of them.
As far as your other health problems, do you take vitamins? When I was 13, I wasn't very careful about my diet (I hated vegetables!) so my mom made me take lots of vitamins to help keep me healthy.
And I don't believe for a minute that you're ugly. I know that when I'm in a bad mood, I see everything that's wrong with me in the mirror and nothing that's right. Try wearing just a little tinted lip gloss and see if that doesn't help.
I'd like just to tell you to cheer up but I know that when you're feeling so sad and angry, that wouldn't do any good. You sound like a very sensitive girl who's going through a rough time right now. Believe it or not, it won't last forever. You'll probably outgrow most of your health problems, and I'd be willing to bet that one of these days, you're going to look in the mirror and realize that a beautiful swan has emerged from the ugly duckling of childhood.
Hang in there.

Well eye strain is most probably caused because you an't se, but if you have to wearglasses why not wear contacts?
Migranes... well if western medcine isn't working for you, either go see a homopath or go get some natural herbs and see if they work. I use them to go to sleep at night, as i use to wake up all through the night and so i never got into a deep sleep which is quite bad.
Don't lack confidence because if you do that then people will see that and then you will feel even worse if they don't let you be apart of the "group" in school. Be your self and act with confident. This means, know what your doin is right.
Make-up, well use a little bit. You don't want to seem like you have been let out in your mums make-up box, plus 13 yr olds shouldn't be wearing alot. I hope this helps you

I kow well how does it feel to be so attacked by diseases cz I also go through such panic, always. Don't get tired of all these cz these r things going 2 accompany u throughout ur life so its better 2 accept da truth rather than being so disheartened. Take medicines & precautions as prescribed by ur doctor & do some exercises regularly such as swimming or cycling. This will keep u fit & happy by removing all wearies. And about ur looks, don't listen 2 what others say. U know u r beautiful cz everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it. It's not ur fault but of others point of view. Find a frame that suits u da best. Don't make urself a model putting up make up n all, just try 2 b natural & b what u r. Be confident & try 2 remain jolly. Thus enjoy da deepest joys of living!

1.Well, think about it this way. You have the money to visit a doctor. 2 billion innocent impoverished children dont even have water to drink. You may be one of the unlucky ones with the weak immune systems, etc, but I can assure you, you are no where near the worst. The best thing you can do is exercise, eat healthily, and be happy ;).
2. Once again, are you the ugliest person in the world? You know the answer yourself. It's understandable that you feel strongly about your appearance at your age, and theres a lot of peer pressure too, but as long as you are a good person inside, you will always look beautiful.

The world is one, and you are one with the world. Everything you experience depends on something you did, are doing, or planning to do in the future.
So take care, the psychological part of you is very powerful, when you love yourself you turn your brain to a powerful ally, and let it do the job of healing.
It's the cosmic force that created the universe, it's the power of love. Love yourself first, and then listen to all the rest of plausible advices.
If you believe you're ugly, then your thoughts definitely are, because true beauty is not a face to be judged, it's an open heart that emanates a light of charisma.

I know that migraines are terrible and it's hard to describe what it feels like to other people, so, they just don;t get it. Feeling bad all the time will make you not like yourself very much, I know. I live in chronic pain 24/7 and so does my wife. Neither of us can work anymore and we rarely go outside of the house because we never feel good. My wife has to have 4 teeth pulled next month and then this week one of her front teeth cracked. It really upset her. You know, things could be much worse for you. Never give up on yourself. Have enough self respect to get up and get yourself ready to go every day, looking the best you can. Do it for yourself! Then walk with your head up high and enjoy being young and alive. You will get through this and life will get better.

I'm sorry you're feeling that way:( *big hug*
Sometimes migraines can be caused by needing glasses or having the wrong strength of glasses. You could get your eyes tested again, and get contacts instead if you don't like the glasses.
If you want to boost your immune system, you could take vitamins, eat fresh fruit&vegetables, get some light exercise and make sure your bedroom is clean (vacuum carpets, pillows, etc for dust mites that give you allergies). I know people who kept getting sick as kids, but as adults they're fine.

Do you also get a sore neck or back pain? You may have some alignment problems with your back that are causing the migraines. I used to suffer from them too until I went to an osteopath who found I had problems with my neck. After treatment I now am relatively pain free.
If not have you been to other doctors and got another opinion. They may have had more experience and may solve the problem.
Hope that you feel better soon.
