Im 19boy in college and fortuntunately I NO CHO and I did not ever been there at thet colege. I heard in one of many news stories they say Cho "was an adult academecly and a child sosially and emotonally", which i tink is so right, HE is like so messed up and stuff, and I watched his "last" video and if I didn't know any betta he was like a 23yo "boy", emotionally and socially, it seemed like so rare, yet probably "charming and cute (to girls).
Now what if another Cho comes in the future or someone, and he is at my college, NOW WHAT?? IM JUST A 19 YEAR OLD BOY IN COLLEGE, too! What I do? Wear helmet, hide in somewhere, waer an iron suit or what? I fear that there will be another Cho and he just might be at my college. THEN WAT?
ONE OTHAr thing, If I eve ran into another gun boy like CHO, would be spare my life if I said I was special, like him and just a teenager? Would he?

Yes, unfortunately, there probably will be another Cho somewhere, sometime. As long as there are lonely, mentally ill people with access to guns, there will be Chos.

But that doesn't mean you should live your life in fear. If you see someone being bullied, step in and try to stop it. If you see someone who's alone and lonely, befriend him. If you see someone you think is dangerous, talk to a teacher or counselor.

I don't know if Cho would have spared your life because you said you were like him. But I do believe that if people had been kinder and reached out to him, this might not have happened.

Yes. It is inevitable there will be more. The only thing you can hope for is you are able to see the same kind of signs Cho exhibited prior to his killing spree and stay away from them. If you know of someone acting like Cho now, tell someone in authority so another massacre can be avoided and pray that nut ball goes straight to the suicide and skips the murdering part before. Hope this helps!!

Hon, this is too big an issue for a Q & A like Yahoo.

Go to counselling services at your university and speak with someone. You won't be the only one.

In the meantime, consider the odds. How many university students are there in the U.S.? Millions. While it *could* happen again, the odds of it happening to you are very very small.

Keep living your life. Be kind to other people. Acknowledge your fears, but don't let them overwhelm you. Life is risky, but hiding yourself away guarantees a life that's wasted.

Really you shouldn't be so concerned about it happening to you. If you are that concerned about becoming a victim then get into counsoling to help you work through it.

You can not go through life worring about what could or couldn't happen, or it will make you crazy.

It's like when I was like 16 years old, I had go into the bank to make a withdrawal from my account. The next thing I know the bank was being robbed by two women. One pulled out a sawed off shot gun and the other had a hand gun, they told every one to get down on the floor. They also had a man as a look out and he was just out side of the bank's front doors.

I was just going out of the first set of doors when they yelled for every one to get down on the floor. I looked at them and realized that they didn't see me and I looked out of the second set of doors and saw a black guy standing there next to the door. I knew that he was with them since both women were black, the neighborhood had only one black transfer student in it and I knew her, there were no other black people living in that suburb.

I decided to leave the bank and take my chances out on the street. When he saw me he said to me "what's the matter you look like you saw a bank robbery or some thing!" I just told him that I was in a hurry and didn't have time to talk with him and I quickly walked away from him into a crowd of people.

My reason for telling you this is, after this happened I could have just as easily had felt fear any and every time I walked into a bank after that, but I didn't. The reason that I don't is that I refuse to ever let any one make me afraid to live my life and do the things that I both need and want to do in my life. I refuse to go through life worring about the what if's or the what could happens if you will. Life is too short to let any one do that to you.

If you let others do that to you then they win and you will be nothing but a ball of nerves and you will always live your life in fear. It's as though they win and they get to control your life.

Oh, yes all three robbers were caught right around the corner from the bank. It was a small suburb on Milwaukee, Wis. So there were like 25 corners and like 25 cops on duty, their tuff luck.

Don't live in fear, if it is that bad for you go and get into councelling and work through your fear, you'll feel better about your self.

Good luck to your and God Bless.

Dude, you need to seriously seek out a professional counselor. This preoccupation with death and dying is not healthy. It seems to me you are suffering from PTSD and really need to seek professional advise.
