they just seem to not have a clue what they are doing... since about 1990... Reagan knew... he was great at it... and then everyone else seemed to forget? No one with a brain cried about the liberal media under Reagan.

and then just blaming media for it only makes the problem worse and probably somewhat of a "self-fulfilling prophecy"...

when Republicans think the media is actually against them, which it seems like they do now, they tense up, get more nervous... and come off awkward, cold and make mistakes... and the media will and has always jumped on mistakes...

it just seems if you guys calmed down... thought before you spoke and acted... and gave the media a little room, they would give you a little room...

and Bush's blunders sure don't help any either... but that's another story...

well, on second thought... Arnold's seems to be pretty good, he makes mistakes, but is still going strong.. but so many others... ick...

let's look at in from another angle if you don't agree with me...

Would anyone call the majority of the Repubicans "media savy"... I don't personally think so... maybe Arnold...

they don't seem to get what the media's job is... they don't get what the media wants... they don't get what the media looks for, what mistakes are ok, and what mistakes aren't...

I mean what are the odds that a huge collection of many different companies, coming from many different backgrounds, with many different goals... are all out to get you? (for the vast majority)... it's a conspiracy theory of the highest order with low probability...

some of them... sure... I'm not argueing about MSNBC.... but everyone?

I believe Bush is just loading his pockets up war profiteering, he already said he would leave Iraq for future Presidents to solve. Bush knew from the start that Iraq wasn't going to be a push over. Bush Senior had more sense than Jr. to call a victory in the first war and get out. I have Internet television and I have been watching all of the News events all a long these last 4 years. I also use Google Earth to see Baghdad. Baghdad is destroyed and unlivable as most of the rest of the Country. Anyone can use this feature and see for themselves. Rupert Murdock has been using the media that he owns (which is 90% of it) to slant the Liberal media lie and censor the truth from Americans. Our Nation whether most people know it or not is isolated right now with the Patriot Act and a NO FLY POLICY. Most Americans would never know this unless they tried to use a visa to leave the Country. I have Rupert Murdock OUTFOXED video you should watch if you haven't over the media propaganda machine.

There are some members of this administration who are just aweful in front of a camera. Rumsfeld was the greatest! How many famous quotes did we get from that clown?

"We know the things that we know, and we know the things that we don't know, but what we don't know are the things that we don't know that we know..."

(I know I messed that up!)

I liked the guy, and he ran a brilliant war with only a few blunders. But my goodness! I yelled at the television several times for those guys to just PLEASE let someone else do the talking!

On the other hand, McCain is getting the idea. He is being as open and as "maverick" as ever. He seems to have no problem telling liberals to "get a life" if they don't like his comments.

I don't like the guy, but I'll vote for him if he keeps doing that and encourages other conservatives to do the same thing.

(I think he's doing it because he knows he has little chance of winning the nomination.)

Your political rant is disguised as a question. I am a conservative. The main stream media has a liberal bias. Anyone who does not see that has his head in a dark place. The main stream media and liberals are in a symbiotic relationship. They feed off of each other. If you can, try to compare the amount of "face time" Chuck Schumer gets versus Denny Hastert.
None of your complaints about Republicans are correct.

The press love controversity it increases ratings. Granted they do tend to have a liberal stant to their coverage. It could have a lot to do with how the Left has learned how to play to the media. Reagan also knew how to play toward them, he was traned in the art.
