do mice hibernate?

No they don't. In the wild they usually only live a few months, so they don't get a chance to hibernate.

Pet mice have no need to hibernate as they should be warm enough and therefore the seasons do not affect them. Even hamsters, who do hibernate in the wild, do not usually exhibit this behaviour when kept as a pet (although some do and people often think they're dead because they go cold).

They are nocturnal I know that much! I do believe they find a warm place underground for winter.
