I'm British and if I had to live in another country I'd choose either:
Spain because it's a fun and vibrant country and the people there are very friendly
Germany because the locals are a great bunch of people
Canada because it's so much like the UK

There are countries that it would be fantastic to live in but only if you had been born & brought up in that culture. Bhutan would be such for me. In terms of going to live in a different country, carrying the baggage of reality with you, as an English speaker, I would suggest New Zealand or St.Kitts.

Siam aka Thailand: blue skies, azure seas, leaning coconut palms, constant warm temperature, smiling natives, cheap cost, out of the mainstream of most conflicts except the Islamic terrorists in the extreme south.

I'd quite like to go to America because I went over there to New York on holiday last year and loved it! Everyone's so friendly over there too.
I also like the idea of living in Gabralta and seeing all those sweet little monkeys and dolphins.

I would live in England because I love England. Plus I like new experiences and would not be averse to living in a place I have never lived in before.

Canada. I don't even know why, it's just somewhere that i have always wanted to see.
Although thinking about it anywhere would probably be better that Britain as the government are ruining this country!

anywhere where the government wasn't a labour one and kept out of our lives much more, there were no traffic wardens, speed cameras or social workers, the only newspapers gave you news instead of telling you how to think, television had no repeats except when you requested them, sweets and chocolate were free and never made you fat. Er, kind of narrows the field doesn't it?
