6x^2 + 3x + 1
6(x^2 + 1/2 x) + 1
6(x^2 + 1/2 x + 1/16) + 1 - 6(1/16)
6(x + 1/4)^2 + 5/8

So.....
Vertex is (- 1/4, 5/8)

y = 6x² + 3x + 1
y = 6.[x² + (1 / 2).x + 1 / 6 ]
y = 6.[( x² + (1/2).x + (1/4) - (1/4))+ (1/6) ]
y = 6.[ (x + 1/4)² - (1/12) ]
vertex when x = - 1 / 4 , y = - 1/2
vertex is V(- 1/4, - 1/2)
