Women, and girls, I have a question. I am doing a small research for someone - and no, I am not fixated on this issue.

Is there anything, or could there be anything that would help you dry your bras fast while preserving their shape and help them last longer? Especially if you pay over $50 bucks for it, or more, i.e. VS or LaPerla. Not if you buy cheap Walmart or Target bras or brand bras in discount stores. I'm talking the real deal brassieres.

So would you want something, like a device or appliance that would do this work fast and careful? Any thoughts?

PS please, this is a serious question. Don't leave silly comments or tell me that I'm a weirdo. If you have something negative to say, either PM me or don't say anything at all. Thanks!

I shop at Intimacy, a European lingerie boutique for my bras (featured on Oprah several times) because I'm a young woman (almost 20) with a unique bra size, 34FF. So all the bras I buy cost well over $50. Between $65 for the cheapest up to about $185 for one particular one. I handwash mine. I will put my panties (also expensive ones from this boutique) in the wash on gentle in a lingerie bag, but will still dry them flat because the dryer is too harsh on them. So I handwash my bras in "Forever New" (special super-mild detergent for lingerie) or Woollite. As far as drying them goes, I lay them out flat to dry as well. But sometimes, yes I do have problems with the cups disforming a little. Which is VERY annoying. So if you are inventing something, let me know. I'd love to be your guinea pig who tries it out. Email me if you'd like more info on the life and times of my brassieres. Cheers!

If I am understanding your question there already is a "device" that will wash the bras and it helps to maintain it's shape. It's a round net that you zipper up and throw your bras in the wash w/ the rest of your laundry. I think I paid 5 bucks for it and it's paid off as I don't have to hand wash my bras and it's saved me so much money from buying new bras.

Women in showbusiness would probably pay bucks for something like this, especially if the bras are embedded with things like rhinestones, coins, jewels, fur, feathers (like showgirls). They can just carefully handwash these things and dry them on this product and not have to worry about the accessories on them coming off.

No I would not. I air dry mine because any heat is going to cause some sort of damage.
