what shoes should I get for prom?

This is a picture I found that look almost exactly like the prom dress I bought (Black), yea I know it doesn't look like a prom dress. Should I get black, red, silver, gold

shoes I can't walk on 3 inches or more or else i feel like im gonna fall and plus im not going to take them off at prom while dancing.

its hard to find cute shoes that are below 3inch

I wouldnmt go for coloured shoes because it will take the fous off your dress. Like if you see someone for a disance in a black dress and they have gold shoes whats your attention going to be drawn to? The gold shoes although i guess if you have silver acessories and silver shoes that could look cut but personally i like 7 i think theyre the cutest =] have fun at prom xx

Shoe number 5, most definitely.
It seems to have the same crushed velvet looking sort of texture as the dress.
Also, they don't look like they would be too uncomfortable for a night of dancing or just plain standing around.
Since the shoe itself comes in only 3 different colors and you said the dress was black, which I'm assuming you mean is just a plain black, then you would have to get some kind of pewter colored purse to go with the shoes.
Either that or try to find some kind of stone looking jewelery or hair aficionado to tie everything all together.

Go with a bright colored shoe. Try a local mall and hit up a discount shoe store, I'm sure there's plenty of cute strappy shoes appropriate for spring weather, and most shoes don't have a real high heel, especially since this is prom season, and shoemakers know that exceptionally high heels are only good for breaking ankles! I'd try silver, or a nice rich red color, that should have the boys going crazy! Have fun and good luck!

I am a man and my advice on which of the shoes to pick is probably not very reliable ;-)

But you can probably learn to wear higher heels if you buy them some time in advance and wear them at home for practice. Then you will have the opportunity to get the pretty shoes you really want and will also have acquired a skill to wear them that you will appreciate for the rest of your life.

I like the styles of shoes #1 & 5 but I would not go black. Choose either a multi-coloured shoe or a different colour - and of course accessorise so that it is a pulled together look.

Remember to have loads of fun and take pictures so that you will remember the night. :)

try a strappy sandal. do either a shiny black or go with a silver if your dress is going to be black. i don't like wearing 3 inch heels ever so i usually stay with the 2 its easier. also try to go for a wider heel so it will be more comfortable and more stable for you. if you cant find anything that you like try those sexy little wedged sandals that they have now. like you said more than likely you are going to have them off anyway so keep it cheap. more than likely you are only going to wear them once and only wear them for pictures. keep it fun and funky. hope you enjoy your prom as much as i did.

Ummmm....that dress is 300 something dollars. It isn't even that great either. The top is weird and the rest is kinda ugly, but I would get the black one.
as for shoes, DEFINATELY get the first pair. They are really cute!

Since you are wearing a black dress, you want to accessorize it with jewelry that pops. I would sugges either gold or silver shoes, depending on which you perfer.

Number 4 or 5...cause ur already wearing black..choose a different color for your shoes (gold or silver looks hot)...match ur accessories with it... ^^ have fun honey!!!
