maybe this is what they call the 'hourglass figure'. it's supposed to the ideal body shape of a woman. it evokes fertifily in the primitive male mind. i wish i could remember where i read that.

Lol, it's not standard, it's ideal. They were some actress' measurements (I'm not really sure whose), and they reflect a typical hourglass figure- curved hips and large chest, and small waist

I think it was Barbara Eden on I Dream of Jeannie, but she didn't have those measurements until after Master rubbed the bottle.

It was Hugh Hefner who declared these measurements to be 'ideal'. In reality however, there are lots of different ideals depening on culture, current trends and personal preference.

I don't think it is... Most models do not have these measurements. In fact they are so thin they could never have a chest that large. It is some barbie like proportion.
