my hymen looks like it broke but im still a virgin...and its really big?? is this normal??

A hymen can be broken for any number of reasons and the fact that it may be does not take away the fact that you are a virgin. Tampons and physical activity can both cause the hymen to break "prematurely". As for it being "really big", it may just be swelling due to it's rupture. This should pass.

Your hymen can get broken or damaged in other ways besides sex - possibly with a tampon, by masturbation or trauma. However, having your hymen broken or damaged in these ways is not that common - oftentimes it will stretch when put under some sort of stress. I would highly recommend consulting your doctor, it sounds like you could have an infection. And any advice or information you get on here can't be trusted 100%. You are probably fine, but definitely go get it checked out. Good luck :)

Yes, the hymen can break because someone fell such as off a bike or a horse. It can also break in the way mine did by getting my first pelvic exam and pap smear at the age of 18 when the dr used a regular sized instrument to do the exam.

every woman has a different and unique hymen (physiology textbook) and the degree to which it's loosened can be classified as complete, partial, etc.
sounds normal.
