Where exactly is 'Mukhathala' in Kollam district n how do i get there? a map would help me out!?

Hi,

Mukhathala is one of the block office headquarters in Quilon (Kollam) district. From the coastal town of Kollam (which is NH 47), you have to get to the Chinnakkada junction. From this junction, you get a number of private buses and KSRTC buses. Buses going to Kannanalloor would go through Mukhathala. This is the best and cheapest way of getting there once you are in Quilon. You can also get a taxi which would charge you by Kms for a two and fro distance at about Rs. 7 to 9 per km.
