Probably pretty important as most of the Mex-Ams I know personally are registered Democrats and considered "blue collar" workers. While quite a few MA's do rise within their corporations to middle management positions, CEO's are still white and fearful Republicans so the Dems can still safely court attendees at Cinco de Mayo fiestas.

Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama as Democrat standard bearers and might be chosen as President due to Mexican-American votes.
VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.

Hispanics - even legal Hispanics - are the 2nd largest ethic group behind Caucasians.
To say thier vote doesn't matter is ludicrous. I live in a border state, so I'm anxious to see solid plans for *all* the candidates.

We cannot win without it. That is why it is important to continue to fight Bush and his plan to fence our borders, at least until after the election. So far pelosi is doing a good job.

I never heard of a "Mexican-American".
When you are a CITIZEN of America I always thought you are an "AMERICAN".
