I used to say a similar thing when I was young. I would say "God gave me a mouth, and I'm gonna use it!" But I was a mouthy little girl. I probably shouldn't of used my mouth so much...it would of kept me out of a lot of trouble!

Yes. I once asked someone who had already taken and passed English 302(Advanced college composition...a Berkley level course)what the class was like and they said, "In short, the class is one you should take. because of the class I now have a mouth and I know how to use it." and then they went into argyments based on shared values, the heart, facts and reason, evaluation...etc. And I ended up taking the course although I really don't need to.
