Yes it is permanent but it takes a while to get it all off, I have had 8 treatments and still need more. You have to keep going back because the hair grows in cycles and the laser can only kill those in the active growing cycle. But it will eventually kill them all. I probably only have one or two more treatments to go. If you can afford it, it is definitely worth it, I have noticed a tremendous difference.

Laser is permanent almost all of the time. I just think they sometimes say that to cover themselves in case it doesn't work for someone due to hormones etc. It takes at least 6 to see a big difference and more to see total removal.

If you're interested in finding out about laser hair removal treatments in general, how long the procedures usually last and side effects, and a list of advertisers giving free consultations and advice about the procedures, check here. There's some pretty good info:

Yes it is. You generally need 6 Tx to destroy 95-99% of the hair follicles. The multiple treatments are necessary because the laser only destroys follicles in the active growth stage. Over the course of 6Tx, 95-99% of the follicles will be in the active stage.

Yes it is permanent and it normally takes like three different sessions to get rid of all of it.
