Most of the Iranian people are not terrorist at all. They are good people.
But Khameini and Ahmadinejad are terrorist leaders. They are spreading terrorism in other countries. And they are bad for the Iranian people.
If this is what Bush thinks, I agree with him.

Iran [Persia] is outside of my culture and knowledge. What little of Iran that I have seen on TV has both impressed and appalled me.

Iranians seem to have far too little freedom and there are the public executions and until recently, under aged children were executed in public. This has now apparently be banned.

What does sicken people here in Europe is the way in which women who are convicted of adultery are put to death. What sort of civilisation is that? Adultery is not a crime, certainly not here in the West. It may cause heartache for those involved and even lead to divorce, but a crime, no.

Iran is supposed to be an oil rich nation, so why on TV whenever we see coverage of Iran is there so much poverty. Why are children, some as young as ten, forced to work in sweat shops for twelve hours a day? What is that all about?

Here in the West, we consider Iran and it's people to be very backward and over dominated by religion. Following the UK15 incident we know also that the Iranians cannot be trusted and so we do not trust them.

For Iran the future looks bleak. Let's spell it out in words shall we. Iran either comes to order or must face the consequences of a world which will no longer tolerate what it is doing.

It is not just the USA and UK it is the membership of the Security Council of the United Nations now more united than ever before concerning the nuclear ambitions of Iran.

No, I'd never believe Bush or Blair again. I think they are trying to brainwash us into believing Iran will nuke Israel if they go ahead with enriching uranium - this all being based on Ahmedinejad saying 'wipe Israel off the face of the earth' - I don't believe for one minute Iran intends to follow up that threat - it was over the top rhetoric and hardly surprising as we know Arabs /Iranians hate the Jews and vice versa. I can only judge countries by their actions, and from where I'm standing, the US and UK are aggressive (Iraq) and so is Israel (Lebanon). I know many won't agree.
PS I know Iran are helping the insurgents in Iraq but this has only been made possible because of American/British interferring into things they know nothing about. Yes the Iranian culture is different to ours but it's up to the people of Iran to judge this not us.

It's not the people of Iran that are the problerm - it's their government. Iran is at least as bad, if not worse, than Saudi Arabia in terms of their support and encouragement of terrorists and the amount of money they invest in destabilizing matters and supporting radical Islamic fundamentalism. In both countries the logic is that if they keep creating external demons the people will be too busy & distracted and won't look at the demons running things at home. Iran needs to seriously overhaul their government - oust and imprison the mullahs and that nutbag president of theirs. Stop pursuing nukes. The people of Iran, hopefully, will grow tired of the system they are currently suffering under and will start the process themselves. But it is a difficult thing to do.

iran is a muslim country but not arabs. they are known with there hateret to the west however this is not the issue.what u need to know is as a regional country it poses a threat to another regional countries that represnt the west most importently Isreal. it by no means can pose a threat lets say germany compared to cuba posing a threat to usa. the rising of Iran is in favour for russia which is regaining influnce in the middle east but not in favour of usa so => we conclude that iran vs. isreal is much like russia vs. isreal . it all comes to benifets

I know Iran is feeding the terrorist into Iraq and they are not cooperating with the request to discontinue building nuclear tests, Yes, I agree with Bush, he has the Americans safety to worry about in these uncertain times. Iran needs to clean up their act or they will be on the wrong side of a losing battle.

I don't know Iran or anything about it, but all my feelings tell me that Bush and Blair should keep their noses out.

The sad reality is that a country's appearance on the international stage is entirely the result of how their leaders conduct themselves, not necessarily reflecting how the citizens themselves think or behave.
