i just bought a scott fertilizer for our lawn grass, but im not so sure on how the procedure is, please advise me step by step from the beginning how to apply this stuff.i dont want to harm our lawn and cant entertain to ruin our yard, please help God bless.

Did you buy a spreader? That's very important, do not apply by just scattering it like chicken feed, you'll get a uneven looking lawn, like a bad haircut. Once you have your spreader, look at the bag to see what setting you'll need for your spreader. Set the spreader then add the fertilizer. If you're using a weed and feed then apply to a wet/damp lawn, apply then let it be for 24 hrs. Exposure to water will wash the fertilizer away. If its just a fertilizer then you can water it into the lawn.

The instructions are on the bag and I don't know which type that you bought. But, there are three numbers on the bag. The first one is nitrogen and should be higher for a spring fertilizer. It makes things green The other two help the roots. Whichever you use, water it in well. Water is very important. Best wishes.

Read the instructions on the bag... Scotts has many different fertilizers....
