I would say do what you enjoy most. I heard that the route to becoming a doctor is more difficult than becoming a lawyer. I couldn't say since I've only been on one of those routes.

Lawyers get an unjustified bad reputation, usually because people claim they feed off of other's misfortunes. But this is exactly what a doctor does too, if there were no sick people, doctors would be out of the business.
In fact it is more common for lawyers to accept cases pro bono (without taking a fee) than it is for doctors.
Lawyers actually help to maintain our justice system. If you got in any trouble with the law, who is there to defend you and stand up for your rights? A lawyer of course.

If you are smart enough, become a doctor.
If you are not as smart, then become a lawyer.
