There is an old superstition that says a cat will climb up on your bed to steal your last breath. I am no saying that it will happen but it is something I heard once or twice.
I used to have a cat that slept on somebody's head. it looked like a coon skin cap. Are you feeling a little Daniel Boone like?
I let that cat do what ever he pleased. He used to follow me and unlock the bedroom door and hop on the bed and sleep there while I did whatever I had to do. He was my watch cat.
I never thought of wearing him as a night cap though and he knew better than to come net to my head while I was sleeping.
He also knew I could see in the dark. He was a lot of fun.
One thing that is certain about cats though, if you keep them waiting too long they may use your mattress as a pee pad to teach you who is boss. You best not keep that cat waiting too long.

No you won't get in trouble. It is just your cat. Also don't let the cat sleep on your head as that wouldn't be good. Tell your cat to sleep down by your legs.

You should be concerned about what your husband thinks and not your cat. If he tells you to go to bed, then you need to obey but the cat is under your authority. Men and women are meant to have domain over animals, not the other way around.

Yes. You must allways obey the cat. The cat is master. We are merely playthings.:)

No do not let your cat do that. For one reason its really gross. And another thing if it gets to close to your face it can kill you. Thats one way that kills babies and people.
