One may be a homosexual and not act on it. Even if you do, if your partner is a mentally competent consenting adult there should be no LEGAL problems. I won't get into the 'burning in Hell' discussion. That's between the practitioner and whatever God or Gods there may be.

Pedophilia includes taking advantage of a child. That's taking advantage of someone who is not competent to make those kinds of decisions for themselves. That's where the law comes in.
