Malinga (with the funny hair) had injured his leg while playing football. People ask why he played soccer when he's supposed 2 play cricket!!

Vaas and Murali were kept for tactical reasons... so they could do a whole lot of damage to the Aussies...when they meet in the finals.

SL is meeting NZ and hopefully they'll win & get in2 the finals.

Since Sri Lanka have already qualified for semi finals, the match against Australia on 18th April was insignificant to them. Hence they may have decided to rest their key bowlers on the following considerations:

1) They did not want tom expose their kley bowlers to
Australian batsmen.

2) They did not want to risk any injury to their key
bowlers.

Because Sri Lanka didn't want to show their trump cards before the final. Australia will find themselves unprepared in the final against Murali and Vaas.
Next match against NZ.

Well they wanted to rest their premiun bowlers before the crucial matches and further had Sri lanka won that match then there were chances that it would have faced Australia as their semi-final opponent.

One of the bowlers had an injury and so he had to be rested.

Marlirine they just decided to rest him. Maybe it was tacted so the aussie batman wouldn't be able to anlyles their mistakes against him. And improve them in time for the final. Or may be they knew they where safe to make the quarter finals.

the two are sturdy communities and have some very sturdy gamers of their factors. i'm going to circulate with Sri Lanka as they're playing in living house circumstances and its very confusing to defeat them of their living house.
