I do.
I hate the assualt of my senses all day everyday. Time is the new luxury, something you never have enough of.

I don't feel good about the direction of the world.

Even the so-called "simpler" time had great hardships.

I'd still prefer this more complex time with modern conveniences. I can't imagine life without good plumbing, electricity etc.

Yes I love nature, but not to sleep in! I love to go hiking in the woods, to watch the sun rise, to feel the wind on my face but at night I like to go to my luxurious queen size bed in my comfy home or slip into the bath in my whirlpool tub, or watch a dvd on my home theatre & enjoy modern technology!

The echoing questions of life are eternal. People have always been pondering them whether life was "simple" or not. It's just that the so-called simple life where people worked hard all day doing manual labour didn't allow people much free time to do navel-gazing. Philosophizing is actually a luxury of those who have their basic needs met & can afford to ponder spiritual questions (if you're starving or without shelter you wouldn't have time to ponder life's questions, you're just trying to survive!)

Possibly everyone would crave for a simpler time. Though perhaps many would not understand what they are really asking for, or what they really want.

I LOVE pondering the ever echoing questions in life, and I personally think that it's fun to do so whether in simpler times or in more complicated times...

Coz, you see, in different times, you would get to expand on different areas of your answer of those ever echoing questions in life...And you would get a different perspectives...

It's like doing a case study of Marilyn Manroe versus Madonna...

Do you mean that we have pondered complex and meaningless questions for so long that we've tied our brains into knots? If this is what you mean, I feel that I’ve only begun exercising my mind, and I have a long way to go before I stop.

Or do you mean that our society has become so complex that one of the questions we should be contemplating is how in the good old days, everything was easy and there wasn’t as much to think about? If this is what you mean, things have become overly complex and we need to teach logic in schools in order to make sense out of the madness.

less complicated? What could desire to be greater straightforward than having each and every thing computerized, and on the touch of a button. No, not likely, i like issues the way they're. I propose, i could supply up tremendously plenty something, yet do not under any circumsatance, take my toliet. that's the only element i choose to maintain. Indoor plumbing.

It is human nature to hanker for have-nots .

I have developed a recipe for a simple life - Do not ever worry for what 'should be ' . Always ponder for' what is ' and 'what is there in for me ''. I do not cry for spilled milk .I would clean the floor and get on.

So much so. even leave the country when i can. i feel like in all our effort to make things "better" and easier" and to make "progress" we have more to do than ever and more things to take care of.

I found someone who believes that too.. adn we try to take it easy.

its how you do it.
