José Mourinho has obviously had some concern to the safety of his position as Manager for a few months now..... but yesterday Peter Kenyon finally gives him full support of the board and reassurance he won't be sacked.

Anything to do with maintaining image of calm and togetherness as they are a few matches away from achieving major honours ? (possibly the Quadruple - please no! - I'll be forced to give up watching football).

Do you think he will be sacked at end of season regardless of what sophisticated and charming Mr.Kenyon says now ?

Former Man. Utd man Kenyon ( who is "sophisticated and charming" in the same way Himmler was) is simply another Abramovich employee. He's the public voice of the business side of Chelsea, and rumours of rifts in the club dont do the business any good. So he has to pretend they dont exist.

In the end, whether Mourinho goes or stays is solely down to which side of the bed Abramovich gets out of in the morning...if he doesnt like Jose's brand of football then he'll be told to leave with a big payoff, whether they win anything or not. Abramovich is Chelsea, and they will dance to his tune beacause they need his cash more than they need Mourinho.

Mourinho can be replaced...Abramovich's money cannot be.

Mourinho had the support of all the players and it seems the sum of all parts was bigger than the big owner. Roman will not admit but standing down on this situation is a very rare occurence in fact, I bet this may be the first time that his authority has been questioned.

properly Aminda, this pastime marks the 10th anniversary of guy United's in call for treble. In 1999,while guy United have qualified for the Champions League interior the oldest Champions League format, they have been additionally drawn with Inter Milan interior the quarter-finals.Then Inter Milan have been an extremely sturdy group, with a choose to win the Champions League and had Javier Zanetti,Bergomi,Simic,Diego Simeone,Zamorano,Luiz Ronaldo,Kanu and Roberto Baggio.yet guy United beat them 2-0 at previous Trafford and drew one million-one million at San Siro to attain the semi-finals. Now,i'd have favorite guy United to get Atletico and meet Inter Milan rather interior the comparable quarter-finals so as that they might beat Inter.yet under no circumstances recommendations, this tie additionally marks the 10th anniversary of our qualification from the team ranges.Even now,Inter are an extremely sturdy group, with Zanetti because of the fact the only member left from the group of 'ninety 9 and the likes of Figo,Vieira,Muntari,Adriano and Chivu on that edge. My head says Inter Milan will bypass interior the direction of the quarter-finals as Jose has had a sturdy checklist over Alex Ferguson, like what you stated.yet I do wish guy United kick off the 10th anniversary of the 1999 Treble by making use of beating Inter and closing Jose's vast mouth. Come on Jose,it's time for that checklist to fly out of the window and you to swallow your satisfaction.

The board do and say nothing without Roman's approval. They were waiting for the reconciliation to come and that happened after the Blackburn game. Morinho's position is now secure.

This season they spent like no-one has ever spent before,
My guess is that when all the loose ends are tied up before the holidays they need to rattle the nerves to see who stays steady.
