Well, considering the fact there is a 26 age difference between myself and one of my best friends, I admit there are times I feel I MUST agree to disagree, to avoid arguing. I try not to argue with my elders, even if they do happen to be someone I consider a friend. So, the answer to whether or not I can agree to disagree with someone is, yes...I can and I do.

I am nonconfrontational almost to a fault. I will definitely be one to offer up the compromise of agreeing to disagree. I also look at things in relation to their importance before I decide whether it is really an issue. This happens often. Most things, once thought about, are relatively small in the grand scheme of things and don't need any importance attached to them whatsoever. While others need to have the discussion but may not necessarily need a resolution.

What's the point?
If I don't know all the facts about a subject, I keep my mouth shut and listen to others. If I know the subject, I continue to debate it until I either convince the other person or give up because I realize they don't want to confuse the issue with facts.
