The old emblem that I'm thinking of was merely the 'M' for Minnesota that used to be on their caps.

I didnt know what that meant either. I moved here to Minnesota 3 years ago and found out that the the TC represents the Twin Cities. St Paul and Minneapolis are two cities separated only by the Mississippi river. Good question.

The intertwined "TC" stand for Twin Cities, indicating the relationship to the twinned cities of Minneapolis and St Paul, which is where they play.

I've seen nothing to indicate that they've changed their logo, their team patches, etc in recent years. However, you may be referring to particular patch or armband that they might be wearing this season, in memory of Herb Carneal, their long-time announcer, who passed away just before the season began.

That is actually the old logo, going back... way back... at least to 1961. TC = Twin Cities

They wear the TC (Twin Cities) at home and they have the "M" hats when they are away. They have always had TC logo though!

If you know what the "T" stands for it shouldn't be hard to figure out the "C".
