This is a very loaded question. I know for certain that my son is not, but would of been upset to learn he was, since it goes against the Christian values, and Bible teaching I raised him with.

My first reaction would be disappoinment for selfish reasons, no grandchildren, my father never had boys to pass down the family name and any hope of trying to pass it through me to my son and hope it lived on in a middle name or something would be lost, not having a daughter in law (that could be a bonus ha) etc but he would still be my son and just because he's gay he would not dramitically change.

As I love both my daughter and my son unconditionally, I would accept their homosexuality. I would, however, prefer to receive this fact from my daughter/son directly.

I love my children for who they are, not what they may or may not be. I think that being homosexual is a very difficult life, and that its important for kids to have people who love them and support them, no matter what they are. Its not a choice that some people just decide to make, its who and what they are, so I would just love them, no matter what. It doesnt matter to me anyway, I just want them to be happy with themselves and with whatever they decide to do with their lives.

I would love him and support him 100% but be a little sad because he would be faced with so much BS from ignorant people.
