It CAN be....it depends on what pill you are on....

If you are taking something and after about 3 months you realize that you go crazy or have bad bad cramps, let your doc know and they will switch you to a new pill.

I personally like yazmin (sp?)

I've been on the pill before and, honestly, I still got cramps like crazy. My back hurt just as bad, I still got sick to my stomach, I felt bloated more often than before I got on the pill, I was just a mess. And the worst part is that until your body adjusts to the pill and your menstrual cycle tries to "get regular" all over again, you bleed on and off unregularly and can't tell if you're pregnant or not. Needless to say, I slowly got off the pill. Now I just stick to condoms and Midol; I've found it to be the best option. Hope this helps you.

I was on the patch, so practically the same thing as the pill, but my pms, which is practically nonexisted to begin with, was darn near gone, no cramps, no bitchyness, no mood swings, nothing.... It should make it better, they is why they prescribe the pill for women with problems in that area.

No way, my symptoms have been much better since I've used the pill. I don't know exactly how it works, but I love it!

no it's not. your periods are shorter and lighter too.

the only side effect i had was it made my periods less regular than they were before I started taking it. but that lessened after I changed pills.

depends on the person. For some women, it's worse. For some, it's much lighter.
