i only stayed at standard (twin) room but they also have
dorm beds.

i can't gurantee safety but have neverd felt any danger

Hotel 81 and Fragrance Hotel have lots of hotels right in Geylang. Price between S$50-S$60. Near to Kallang MRT and lots of good food in this area.
