Lol BladeCrimsom-- Do you ride much? In hunterjumping and showjumping events the horse has a show name (often his registered name.) THEN he has a barn name, which is what hes called at home and outside of show. The show name is supposed to be unique so there is no other horse with the same name, and eye catching-- it also sometimes describes the horses characteristics that are special about him (i.e Black beauty) for a horse that is pretty and big/black. Of course, they just called her beauty, not the whole thing... Get it?

I don't get it, these are names you'd give a race horse, even though your using a Thoroughbred in a English riding sport -Hunter/Jumper & Cross-country, where warmbloods make better athletic and mental particiapants, you should still use the naming convention of 'Your Name' Riding Shinto.

I don't answer for points...

Ok...it depends on your sport or your horses blood lines...for example, i event and half thoughs names are in use...as for bloodlines, stallions name somewhere in it.
