How badly do eyebrow piercings hurt? I've heard many different answers, but my close friend claims her ear piercings hurt more than her eyebrow. I kind of have a moderate pain tolerance.. a little low, but I'm just wondering from people who have gotten it done before. Is it like crying out in pain or not too bad?

It won't make you cry. Ear piercing is done most the time with a gun, which is really fast and yes painful. The eyebrow isn't bad at all. You need to go to a really good place. It's just a really sharp needle and glides right threw your skin. Then they get the ring and from the bottem push in the ring as they push out the needle. Put Ice on it after to cool it down and stop the swelling. Make sure they take enough skin. The 1st time i got it done they didn't take enough skin, and it slipped out a few weeks later. The 2nd time was fine. Oh and make sure they put a "LOOP" ring, not a "Banana" ring....but most the people i knew, plus myself got tired of it after a few months.

Hey Katie, what everyone else said - ears hurt waaay more. I've had my belly, nipples, ears done and just recently my eyebrow, and that - no ****, was the easiest one. For some one who's one to avoid pain, I'd go the eyebrow. I've heard stories about people not being able to sleep on that side for days, but it's not true! I got sort of a bit of a headache, just took some panadol, and it was gone! I just had to watch when I brushed by hair. Other than that, hardly any fuss. Heals quickly!
So Katie, stop THINKING about it. Go suss out a good piercer if it's something you want, and just walk in, and DO IT! xx I'll hold ur hand *giggle*

Seems like we all agree that it doesnt hurt that bad. I'm probably the oldest person here with an eyebrow piercing but yeah it didn't hurt that bad. I also have a nose piercing and cartilage. Now the nose piercing DID hurt.
Make sure you go to a piercing shop to get your piercing done.

I just got my eyebrow done a few days ago and it's about a 2 on a 10 point scale of pain. It was extremely easy and quick, and it looks awesome. If you want it, go for it! It isn't bad at all!

Your ears are made of cartlige and your eyebrow is just skin and muscles so it all really depends on your pain tolerence if you can stand getting pinched really hard then you should not really have any problems with your eyebrow.

i had it done and it didnt hurt. i mean it hurt a little but not badly. but i do warn you it was probaby just me, i dont want you to not get it because of me but after about a month mine got infected even though i cleaned it very well and it started to come through my skin, now i have a scar. so be very carefull and CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN. and dont chicken out it always looks really good. one of my friends also had it done and hers is fine. good luck. make sure you go to a clean place and check it out first.

i have one & it didn`t hurt whatsoever!!! my cartilage piercing in my ear hurt worse!!!

it depends how you need it. if it is realy necessary, not much.
