The Bible say's that it is appointed to man [mankind] once to die and then the judgement. We will be judged on the good and the bad thing's we have done. Have you ever told a lie, took something that didn't belong to you, The Bible say's that you shouldn't murder but anyone that has hated his brother [mankind] called someone a fool whoever hates his brother is a murderer. Have you alway's obeyed your parent's, put GOD first in you live? We have all [me too] have broken GOD's comandment's. This is called sin and the wage's of sin is death, but GOD doesn't want any to parish so he send His son JESUS CHRIST to die in our place. Him that knew no sin became sin for us that He could bring us to GOD. Our part is to turn toward's GOD and turn our back to sin. Then place our trust in what JESUS did on the cross. If you don't know how to pray get a bible and turn to pslam 51 it was the pslam that king David wrote after he sinned and was made aware of it. Read the bible and obey what it say's. A good place to start is in the gosple of John. Pray and find a good Bible teaching church. A good web site is livingwaters.com.

I believe that my mind contains the core and the majority of my soul. I think, when I die, my mind will disintegrate. However, the way I see it, everyone who remembers me will have a little piece of my soul within them. In every one and in every thing, that I influence, a little seed of my soul will have been planted. Some of those seeds will disintegrate also; some will grow and morph into things, maybe great things, maybe insignificant things. Some of those things might reflect a lot of me and some of them might be unrecognizeable to me. And, some of what I will have poured a bit of my soul into may preserve my soul to some small degree, like in a book or a sculpture.

I answered this question once before, and here it is :-)
your soul is released from your body, and it goes wherever you truly believe you were meant to go. that means you will go to a heaven or a hell of your own devising. If you believe your soul winks out of existance, thats what happens. If you truly have no idea, you go to a waiting room of sorts, until a guide can help you find your proper destination. When I die, I will be one of those guides. so If when you kick the bucket and cant figure out what or where you are suppesed to go, just look for a short goofy-lookin guy with brown hair and a Zelda tattoo :-)

According to the Holy Bible, you either go to heaven or hell, but no one ever needs to go to hell, because Jesus made it possible for every living human being to make it to heaven. God has never sent one person to hell, yet people send themselves there when they don't accept what Jesus did for them on the cross. He paid the penalty of sin that we all may be saved. don't be confused. it's an "un-answerable" theoretical question.it can only be answered by "having faith",some believe in angels and demons, some re-incarnation,or indian spirits. some are content in just not knowing.study theology; a few different opinions from throughout the world and history.no need to be confused, you can only make an "educated guess".whatever you choose to believe is all-right;as long as it lets you live a life that matters, and then your questions will be answered by your "having faith",(religious or not).

When somebody dies, they will go to one of two places. If they have faith in Jesus, believe him to be savior, and seek a relationship with him they will go to heaven. If they reject Jesus, they will spend eternity burning in hell. I would encourage you to read into it a little more. The book of John is a good place to start in reading the Bible.

Depok Chopra asked this very question right here in Yahoo Answers some time ago, and a million people answered. But he only chose one best answer, and then spoke about it and his recent book on TV. Where were you?

You either live in eternal connection with God in paradise or you are allowed to have what you chose in this life, separation from God, for all eternity, which is hell.
The way to get to heaven is not to live a good life, because no one can live a perfect life, which is what it would take to please a perfect God. So it isn't that "good" people go to heaven and "bad" people go to hell, as many people think.
The way to have assurance of salvation is to believe in and confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior. He paid the penalty for our sins which separate us from God, so that we can be again restored to relationship with Him.
To learn more about this, read "How You Can Be Sure That You Will Spend Eternity With God" by Erwin Lutzer.
It really isn't complicated. Faith in Jesus=grace given to you by God=eternal life. Any religion that preaches faith in Jesus plus something else you have to do to earn your way into heaven is incorrect.
When you repent of your sins and personally accept Jesus' death on the cross in your place, you are restored to relationship with the Source and Creator of life, God Himself.
I highly recommend it!
God bless and God loves you.

There is no such thing as a soul. When you die, you're done, just like the opossum beside the road.
