When the state takes over a school, it means that everything has been tried, and nothing has worked. There will be a complete overhaul of the school, with a new staff and tough new rules. At least, that is the idea.

Often the state allows a private company to take over, in which case your school will either become a charter school or a private school. Either way, they are going to be far more selective about who can go to the school than when your school was a regular school. Students that have been behavior problems--which is probably why your school failed in the first place--will have a much harder time attending the school.

With any luck, things will turn around, and you will get an education for a change.

It is really bad for the students to behave like this prompting state to take over the school to control the behavior of the students and the safeguard teachers whereas normally students and teachers must have mutual regard and respect with a sense of discipline without which it is impossible to have a good atmosphere, peace and quality education.

It basically means that the school and/or district administrations are not doing their job properly. The state department of education will bring in their own people to turn the school around. They may or may not bring in new teachers. For you students, it should mean that your education improves and your school gets better.
