I'm bi, I'm also only 13 in May. Only a few of my friends know, as does my sister. She and my mom are close, so I think my mom might know-not for sure. I don't like having to hide it, but I also don't want to tell anyone.
So for all of you bi gay and lesbians, how did you come out and when? Any suggestions? Should I wait a while and then later on when I'm older tell them? I've had 4 boyfriends and a girlfriend--still dating one of the boys.
Do you think I might be just testing myself or is it the real thing? Because I've kissed both a guy and a girl and I liked girl better. Could I be lesbian? How can I know for sure, because I have many problems such as depression slightly more important than this.
Thank you!

Okay i am gonna be 13 in September and i am right up your alley!!!
i actually think that possibly all girls have bi feelings during ages 12-14ish. Right now i think you should experiment more, but really the main way to know if you really love someone is to go ALL the way, and both of us are definately NOT ready to go all the way, so just experiment with your options and maybe explore the whole kissing thing more, start having lesbian relationships, and then see if you miss the boys at all, if you dont you are probably lesbian or possibly bi

You might be a lesbian considering you liked kissing a girl better. But maybe your just curious for what is out there. Wait a while longer until you are 100 percent sure you like girls and not guys. You have to keep going out with boys and girls, if the girls interest you more, and guys dont meen a thing anymore, than you are a lesbian. Just cool off for a while, and decide later what you are.

You are still very young so in my opinion you shouldn't pick a label yet untill you figure out who you are or at least who you have feelings for. But on the other hand many people know from a young age. Only you know for sure. There is no gay test to take. For help you can go the HRC site where their is info on coming out as a bisexual, there are also many good books to read. Another site I've found helpful is OutPath for other people's coming out stories and reactions they got. The choice to "come out" is your, but when or if you do then be sure and be ready for the questions. You might want to go to a youth group to talk to people your own age about GLBTQ (gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, questioning) issues.

Don't try and analyze and label yourself. You are what you are, and you can enjoy men and women. If you get another girlfriend, I would suggest letting your parents know you are with a girl, but it's not really terribly relevant at the moment, and it doesn't really make you lesbian or even bisexual.
Women are very nice to kiss because they are soft and generally more tender and loving, so it's not surprising you may have preferred the female kisser. Also she may have just been a better kisser, hehe.
If you are still attracted to men, you aren't lesbian. Please don't try to over-analyze. Just enjoy your exploration and discovery, and you'll find where you fit eventually =)

A lot of them have sexuality problems. They think if they’re abusive to gays, it means they can’t be gay themselves. The next time you see an abusive message look at the person’s other questions/answers. In a lot of cases you’ll see that most of their messages are on the gay section. What straight person would spend each day looking up gay stuff, it just doesn’t happen. You think of all the ones who insult gays on here, what names come to mind? Which ones are on here each day. There’s Ken S, but have a quick look back at his old messages and you’ll see he’s admitted that he has fantasies about men. Another person is Loyal B, again look at his old messages and he says “No I am not homosexual I turned from sin when I accepted Jesus” (in other words he slept with men, but doesn’t now since he’s become religious). Another person who’s on here all the time is Jesus Loves You. Just look at his past answer/question history and you’ll see he’s obsessed by gays (another closet case). These people aren’t fooling anyone, only themselves.

sounded better than the boring .. i'm a lesbian.
and well they got it . some were mad some were against it but it feels good to live out in the open and i didn't want to hide it so i went for it. they understood after a couple of months and got over it.

Don't try to pin a label on yourself right now, sweetheart! You don't have to share this with your famiy right now either unless you think they will listen & be understanding. Just try to be aware of how different guys & girls make you feel. What are you attracted to? Blondes? A sense of humor? A caring heart? There's no hurry here. Be gentle & patient with yourself.

The reason you are liking girls right now is because you having reached the age where you actually like boys. If you continue on this path, you will change your mind several times. Just calm down and let nature take it's course.
