I have major trust issues and I have NO desire to get married!

P.S. This is in the Entertainment & Music area because I chose to put this question in the Polls & Surveys section! It's certainly not an 'entertaining' matter!

I wish they would get a divorce. My mom provides everything for me and my 5 siblings while all my dad does is sit around and do nothing. I don't know why they're together. He just makes my mom feel bad anyway.

I have trust issues too. But it has motivated me to make the most of my education so that I can provide for myself and my [future] children on my own like my mom. I wont depend on anyone

I thought that too but it all changed now that I have gone through my own divorce. I see now what my parents tried to do all along that was to be happy. I really lucked out when my mom remarried again! I had a great new step dad who was there for me and even took me to work at 4:00 in the morning, he was also there when I got my drivers license and cried telling a lady my daughter has passed, and he was very happy about it, nothing could have pleased me more. I will never forget him as long as I live! He died at 94! 3 years ago and I have missed him ever since. Here is to you Jaun G. Torres where ever you are!

I was divorced from my husband of 14 years almost 4 years ago..At the time of the separation, my kids were pre-teens and teenagers...My two youngest had the hardest time with it all, and I understand...They didn't see the fights and the fact that their dad and I were "just there". Now, he has married a wonderful woman, and I have found my soul mate...Just because your parents decided to get divorced doesn't mean that you should give up on love...My children have realized through the years that we made the right decision..

don't let your parents failed marriage keep you from getting married.I'm sure they had there reasons be it good or bad. They defiantly wouldn't want you to old off on getting married if you found the right one, and that time will come. My parents are still married have been for 37 years.

My parents split up 2 weeks after I was born. Granted there were 7 kids before me but it still gives me issues, on so many levels. My Mom abandoned us.
