Did you use lubrication or a toy? You should always wash your hands or any toys you use to prevent infections or irritation.
You may have also gotten carried away and irritated the skin/a hair follicle.
Wait and see what happens (if you shower/bathe, try not to use soap or heavily perfumed soap because it may irritate it further) and if it calms down, don't worry about it.
If it gets worse, head to the doctor!

One of two things is possible: either an infection or you might be allergic to the soap product you used to take a bath with or clean down there. I would definitely recommend getting in touch with your dr to have them evaluate this to see what they think could be causing the problem.
