Yes, bumped into a mannequin once and thought it was my friend who was shopping with me. I apologized for bumping into her and freaked when her head fell off.

the other day actually. I work in a pharmacy in a small town, and this lady came strolling in with a kid in the cart, the kid looked exactly like my neice, and I turned around and screamed HIYA Marie. Looked at the lady pushing the cart and then I realized, it was not my sister, nor her daughter. It was a complete stranger that I've never seen come into the store before. I looked at her, she was all wided eye'd because I'm screaming HIYA at her kid. All I did was apologize and went on about my day.

i was mistaken for an actor, and I was certain they were joking. i hung out with these people all night long then went to a party with them ... signed autographs and still they thought i was someone else. suffice it to say, i am friends with these people now ...

*note: i autographed my "real" name just cause i thought they were joking. it was funny. i repeatedly told them my name. LOL

Yes. When my husband and I were starting to date, I was working at one of the shops in the town we are from. I had met his parents a few days prior to this happening......I was working one day and a man who I thought was my boyfriend's (at the time) dad walked in. I said "Hi! How are you?" and proceeded to ask him something about the family. He looked at me and said "Ah, you must be Malarie. I've heard about you, but honey, I'm not Mike. I'm his twin brother Pat." It would have been nice if someone had told me that to begin with!!!

Yes it's kind of funny because when I realize it's not who I thought I play it off like I knew them anyway...it's kind of funny to see the confused look on their face, like who was that and where do I know her from....better they look like the fool than me...lol
