Did you remember to dechlorinate the water? This sounds like chlorine shock or possibly temperature shock.

If it is in a fish bowl, it could be suffocating, especially if it is a goldfish. Get it into something bigger, where there is more oxygen exchange asap -- even if it's a plastic container overnight. Walmart sells $9 ten gallon tanks you can also get late, or asap. Good luck..

You need an air pump, and air stone to put oxygen through the water.

Put some straw on the water and do air under the water while you're bresthing on the straw. I don't know.. maybe it could work .

The worst way is to take theme out of the water !
first of all reduce the water temperature then you should change 30% of water.
don't use salt at all !

Fish don't like air. It likes water. You have to keep it in water. KEEP IT in WATER!
