according to childhood records, how the heck did he make it in high school, and (scary) in university?

I mean you need to communicate, go in groups, give reports, and so forth, and do projects. His parents said he never spoke.

So shouldn't all teachers be responsible for letting him slip through the cracks and giving him grades to pass? Something is wrong here.........

I wondered about that too.

The newspapers lately have been writing a lot about how the children of baby boomers are finding colleges super competitive because of the many candidates that are applying now. They say that even kids who are number one in their high school or have perfect SAT scores are not getting into the best schools. And those are kids who are normal and making an effort to be understood.

How did that Cho guy get in is a tough riddle.

I think that is possible. In my class, there was a girl who did not speak at all and she sat in the corner of the class. When the teacher asked her to read, she just shake her head. It was in middle school. I do not know where she is now.

Also, it is possible that you go to college without speak at all. With the exception of speech class, because you have to speak on speech class. I think Cho did not take speech class.

You're quite right in your observation. I guess that's going to be just one of those odd things that no-one asks because some evil power behind is just watching waiting and expecting that nobody notices.

If I were you I'd disappear for a while, someone may be already after you for that info disclosure...
