My husband works overtime everyday, usually 6 days a week. This was how it was before I married him, so I knew what I was getting into. His job enables me to stay home and raise my children so I greatly appreciate how hard he works, even if I do miss him. He makes the most out of the time when he is with our family. Despite his work schedule, he makes time for the kids and helps around the house when he can. So, no I really don't get upset.

Yes. Then again, the concerned partner should try one's best to spend quality time together on a small scale like taking a stroll at the park, reading books together, watching movies, dining out and so on with affected partner. The affected partner must be understanding about the other partner's job requirement and situation.

No one loves overtime except those who want to earn more money. As you know, overtime robs one's social life, personal life and health in the long term.

I dont fully understand your question, but my hubby works OT everyday. It's factory maintenance, so what can ya do? Just look at it as them bringing home extra money that the two of you can spend on a night out with eachother!

Knowing someone works so much and doesnt find time to enjoy the fruits of his labor is sad and seems a lonely existence. It wouldnt upset me unless it was so much that we didnt spend any quality time together.

My husband and I work overtime sometimes and this doesn't bother me as long as we make time together. Maybe you can ask your husband to do the same on his day off.
