It's the new trend. Now more and more older women are marrying younger men. 21 and 18 is not that much gap, but they could wait another or two years.

An older woman can marry anyone as long as the opposite sex is not younger than 18..the question is, are they both ready to face the consequences. Not all, but most of guys mature late. They are bigger in size, mature looking, and can show many of their different faces (meaning they can lie easily without guilt), w/c makes females matured quickly because they learn and experience from them. Not bad for a deal, but it's preferable to learn without being hurt, right? When female try to get even with them - female are branded, but they are still ok. These late maturity characteristics of some guys are very good if you are the last woman they are settling with when they are done being immature. But sometimes, if you are good with these men, even though they are still on their stage of playing, they might stay put with you. The bad consequences of these, if you're willing to play your cards with these types of men, you are in a life where happiness will only be found in your children and in the money, house, nice cars, expensive clothes (if your men can afford), lavish parties, and so forth and so on that he is willing to provide to you and your kids. Believe me, it will be boring after a while, then you cannot hunt (you know what I mean) because of your children. What more if they are younger than women? You will become as if his and his children's mother. Then fight here and fight there...love will not be there for both of you....getting married is for life...w/c include not only kissing and hugging and tickling and thanksgiving with in-laws.....it is permanent and lots of responsibilities from both to make each one happy plus the people that married couple with create....so this is a matter that really need to be talked about. Don't invite men to marry you, so you don't put yourself in a position that you are responsible for everything in this marriage. remember, you invite, you instigate - you lead.

Yeah, that's totally possible. Actually guys start normally going for older women when they are in their early-mid 20s. When they get about 24, they start going after 30 somethings and in some cases 40s

I would hardly call that older and younger. There's a 3 year difference, not 30.

I see nothing wrong with it. Age has nothing to do with it as long as you two are in love and know your meant to be then I say go for it. I just got out of dating someone who was a year younger then me and my brother is 7 years older then my sister in law.

from a psychologists standpoint it doesn't matter who is older and who is younger the only thing that matters with age is generation compatability, in other words is there little enough difference between ages that the two can coincide without problems

in this case there would be no problem based upon ages.

I'm 44 and my husband is 38. He was 20 and I was 26 when we got married.

Of course! The success of it really depends on the two people. My husband is 7 years younger than me (but you'd never know it to look at us) and we do great! Follow your heart but also pay heed to your common sense and intuition.
