I have a program called easy media creator, you can play movies and take snap shots out with it. Maybe windows muvie maker will do the same.

Yes, what player are you using? I use InterVideo winDVD and it has the feature to capture the image.

Least convenient is using print screen (press the PrtSc button your keyboard) and past it to your image editor.

note: put your player in full screen mode before capture the screen using this methode, otherwise it will also capture the bars, and mouse pointers.

It relies upon on what you elect and what you're prepared to spend. Photoshop is robust for state-of-the-artwork photograph modifying, yet with elementary stuff, IrfranView is a thank you to flow. GIMP is loose, and it has somewhat reliable good factors. wish this permits.

What player are you using?

VLC will do "Snapshot". PowerDVD have screenshot. Not sure about Media Player Classic. Windows Media Player don't have it.
