The first computer I had came with a mouse, but it didn't have the roller on it. This one does, and I can't imagine not having it!

Have you tried pushing down on the scroll wheel? It brings up a little auto scrolling device on the screen.
Took me 3 months to find that feature by mistake, it's my favorite feature now when working on spreadsheets..

Trust me when I say the optical mouses are so much better. The rollers and the ball get dirty and need to be cleaned our from time to time...after a while, the cursory starts to get hard to accurately move. You don't have that problem with optical mouses.

with out! those darn mice with rollers can p.c.. up lint and each little thing else in that little ball and not choose to roll which makes me choose to throw the mouse around the room! The laser ones are lots nicer, plus in case you p.c.. up those this is mac made a splash mousy shines on the mouse pad. Neat!

thats like when i use my older computer i cant stand it because i dont have a scrolly thing. I odnt know how i did it before, whoever invented that thing should get an award. Lol
