To express their own opinion. Religious folk like to express their beliefs, and pressure others into believing what they believe, but people think it is wrong for an Atheist to do the same.

because they haven't realized that not believing in something doesn't make it go away. For example, if you were to walk up to a boulder and say, "There is no rock here. This rock is imaginary," would the rock disappear? No. You would still bang your head if you try to walk through it. But even that doesn't stop some people from telling others that that boulder is imaginary or that it does not exist. Sometimes people are like that with God. Sometimes people think, "I can't see Him or hear Him. He's a figment of your imagination."
You cannot see or hear gravity. You can pretend that it does not exist. But it will not go away because you stopped believing in it. If you were to leap off a cliff thinking "Gravity does not exist because it has never shown itself to me," you would still fall and go splat. 'Gravity cannot be seen or heard or smelled or tasted, but- it can be tested. It's the same way with God.'
Probably the person who told you that carries the same ideals as that person who does not believe in boulders or gravity. There are so many reasons people think up for closing their eyes to God-... I can't tell you exactly why. I don't think anyone could. But the ideals are the same. Please- tell them that God is real. He's made Himself real to me, and i will testify that.

Some people don't believe in God. I asked my friend if she believes and she said "I'll believe it when i c it" Some people r just that way. I'm religious but i still ask myself, is he really out there? If so, what does he look like? We just don't know and some people don't even want 2 believe in anything. 2 make it short. Hey, it's just their opinion.

because they must not know Him. God is real. That person needs prayer. ... or a swift kick in the behind lol
People say God doesn't exist bc
1. they are entitled to their opinion
2. it's easier to deny God than to accept that He exists gave up his only son for your sins .. bc if u believe he did that, you are supposed to live right.. that's a big commentment to someone who doesn't know God
