Oh yes. My parents are firm believers in and followers of the Postal Code, and they have passed that respect for the great institution that is the United States Post Office on to all 17 of their children. Tampering with mail is a federal offense.

Yes I was raised not to open or tamper with any ones mail,and I was also raised to fetch the mail,kind of like our golden retriever who used to bring the newspaper in every morning,she never tampered with the newspaper either,delivered it perfectly and she had 3 legs,and that's no joke..

I was raised not to bother anything that don't belong to me. I would especially never tamper with mail. Each to his own but that's a federal rap.
