As a society, no we do not take proper care of our children. But personally, as a parent and grandparent, I care deeply, as does my husband and while we gave our kids the things they needed growing up, we also made certain they felt loved and we DID protect them as much as was possible. Sadly, life throws curve balls from the most unexpected places so no matter how loving, how caring a parent is, we can never protect them from everything. All we can do is try our best and be there when needed, even after they are grown with their own families.

Yes as a mother and now a grandmother of 4 young children. I care a lot about of children and I always have.

I like quiet, intelligent, well-behaved children.
I try to avoid the others, but I don't like to think of them suffering, so I support quality education and health care for kids.
