Quite a funny anecdote but it hails from The Daily Currant. A satire site similar to the Onion. Their formula takes something almost believable based on the politics/news of the day and gives it their twist. Many of their articles catch on because they are not so far-fetched and instead of being myths, tend to skew towards little white lies.
