This band is known for their particular style and for being "the pioneers of hard rock", but I'd like to listen to other people's opinion

Led Zeppelin is an amazing band. They did so much to pioneer hard rock, but they also did so much with their acoustic music as well as blues. Just listening to their "radio friendly" music can be misleading. Dig a bit deeper, and you'll find so much more.

I think they are an amazing band... especially John "Bonzo" Bonham.... no one ever came close to drumming the way he did. Their best songs are for the most part ones that are not very well-known... but I love all Led Zeppelin music, and so does Lenny Kravitz

Led Zeppelin has always been my favorie classic rock band, and it'll probably always be my favorite classic rock band. Robert Plant's voice was so unique, no one else has one like it... and don't even get me started on Jimmy Page's guitar playing...

I still stop dead in my tracks to listen to Stairway to Heaven. I really like the bluesy guitar laden sound that Zepplin had, which led me to a life long love for guitar rock like GnR and Aerosmith.

i think they are better than the beatles. they were the best at assimilating the rhythm and blues style that a lot of bands from that era (beatles, rolling stones) were all so influenced by and turning it into what rock n roll has become.
plus a lot of their songs still sound like they're contemporary

For a while I thought I hated them but then I listened to them for the first time in a long time and I liked them a lot, they really moved me but I do think people want to like them because they have a big name rather than...the music.

Jimmy Page set precedence in the studio art of overdubs and mutiple guitar tracks(as many as 32 in one song.)and using reel to reel tape decks and creating backwards echoing effects.
