As an atheist I want you to know we have no evidence god does not exist. But then again we have no evidence George Bush is not in fact god.

Although perhaps more modest than some George Bush could be a closet creator.

Basically Christian god and Muslim god told us they created the world. Why should we take their word for it?

I would rather have a god who doesn't tell us he created us and how to live our lives. And if he were to judge us he would do so without interfence in our earthly lives. Someone like perhaps George Bush.

Live your life however you see fit. If there is a god he should judge you on that.

God does not exist. God is a mythical being made by humans do they can have something to believe in -simply because they cannot wrap their heads around the fact that there is nothing. It's a pacifier to make them feel better. In everything I have seen through history as well as the present and in my own life, the "god" we all speak about is one big contradiction.

Mark Twain described it best:

A God who could make good children as easily as bad, yet preferred to make bad ones; who could have made every one of them happy, yet never made a single happy one; who made them prize their bitter life, yet stingily cut it short; who gave his angels eternal happiness unearned, yet required his other children to earn it; who gave is angels painless lives, yet cursed his other children with biting miseries and maladies of mind and body; who mouths justice, and invented hell -- mouths mercy, and invented hell -- mouths Golden Rules and forgiveness multiplied by seventy times seven, and invented hell; who mouths morals to other people, and has none himself; who frowns upon crimes, yet commits them all; who created man without invitation, then tries to shuffle the responsibility for man's acts upon man, instead of honorably placing it where it belongs, upon himself; and finally, with altogether divine obtuseness, invites his poor abused slave to worship him! -- Mark Twain, The Mysterious Stranger

This is a foolish way to think about the question of God. There is no proof that warewolves exist on Earth, but there is very strong evidence that they do not exist. There is also no proof that intelligent aliens exists, but the evidence is very inconclusive. I think the probability that God exists is better that the probability that warewolves exist but worse than the probability that aliens exist.

Yet there's plenty of evidence that George Bush could be the Anti-Christ disguised as a dumba**.

God can neither be proven to exist nor not exist. The idea of god is beyond the realm of proofs.

God is a personification of the creation. God is just a concept, an idea.

God as a creator is non-existent.

It is a logical impossibility to prove a negative. Regarding Bush, he's an idiot....sorry.
